Post subject: Modifying XP Pro SP2...

I'm aware that by using 'Set Program Access and Default' one can hide IE, Outlook Express, Windows Media Player, etc., but they're not really gone. Is there way to totally delete or uninstall, without turning the OS unstable? If so, I'd also like to know how much can be safely jettisoned (I've no need of IE, Outlook Express, WMP, Excell, Messenger, Access, PowerPoint, or Publisher). Thanks.
